Yango partners in Nepaland how to choose between them
Yango supplies the app and the passengers. It does not supply motorcycles, insurance or anyone to call. Those come from Nepali fleet partners, and which one a rider signs with decides most of what the work is actually like.
Yango launched in Nepal in 2025 in partnership with nine local firms. Rider management agencies have joined the platform since, and Ellite Sphere Mobility Pvt. Ltd. in Shankhamul, Lalitpur is one of them. Yango publishes no partner directory for Nepal, so the list below is assembled from public reporting and from agencies operating openly in the valley.

What a Yango partner actually does
Four things change hands between the platform and the rider. All four pass through the partner agency.
- They own the vehicle
- Yango supplies the app and the passengers. It does not supply motorcycles. Where a rider does not own one, it is the partner agency that puts a bike under them, and the terms of that arrangement are set by the agency, not by the platform.
- They register the rider
- Licence, citizenship, bluebook and background checks are verified by the partner before an account exists. This is why a rider joins through an agency rather than signing up alone, and why onboarding speed varies so widely between one partner and another.
- They carry the insurance and the gear
- Health and accident cover, raincoats, helmets, phone mounts and power banks sit with the partner. Nothing obliges a partner to provide any of it. Some do, some hand the rider a login and leave the rest to them.
- They answer when the platform does not
- A suspended account, a payout that did not arrive, a passenger complaint: the rider raises it with the partner, and the partner raises it with Yango. A rider with no agency behind them argues with a support queue alone.

Partners differ most in the things that are easiest not to ask about. Ask these of whichever agency you are talking to, including this one.

Yes. Ellite Sphere Mobility Pvt. Ltd., which riders know as Ellite Yango, is a Yango rider management agency based in Shankhamul, Lalitpur, working across the Kathmandu valley. It was not one of the nine firms named in the 2025 launch coverage; it began operating on the platform afterwards. It provides the motorcycle, health and accident insurance, all-weather gear and rider support.
What is the difference between Yango and a Yango partner?
Yango is the ride-hailing platform: the app, the passengers, the fares and the commission. A Yango partner, also called a fleet partner or a rider management agency, is an independent local company that recruits riders, verifies their documents, supplies vehicles and insurance where it offers them, and supports riders day to day. The rider's account is with Yango. The bike, the cover and the phone call are the partner's.
Do I have to join a partner to ride for Yango in Nepal?
A rider who owns a suitable motorcycle and holds a valid category A licence can register directly. A rider who does not own a vehicle has no route onto the platform except through a partner agency that provides one, because Yango itself does not supply motorcycles.
Can I move from one Yango partner to another?
Yes. Riders change agency, usually over vehicle terms, insurance or how support is handled. What is involved depends on the agreement signed with the current agency and on any vehicle held under it. Bring the paperwork to the office and it can be read through with you before anything is decided.
How many Yango partners are there in Nepal?
Nine were named when the platform launched in 2025. The number operating now is higher and is not published by Yango. Anyone counting from launch coverage alone is counting a roster that is more than a year old.
